Berry M. Spruijt, Ph.D., Scientific Director, co-founded Delta Phenomics. In addition to serving as an officer of the company, Dr. Spruijt is professor of Ethology and Animal Welfare at Utrecht University. He previously worked at the Rudolf Magnus Institute for Neurosciences at Utrecht University. Berry Spruijt has authored over 120 publications in the field of behavioral brain research. He has always had a strong interest in methods and techniques, and has been pioneering with automated behavioral observation since the early 80s. Dr. Spruijt earned his M.Sc. in 1977 and his Ph.D. in 1985 from Utrecht University.

Lucas P.J.J. Noldus, Ph.D., Commercial Director,
co-founded Delta Phenomics. In addition to serving as an officer of the company, Dr. Noldus is the CEO of Noldus Information Technology, a leading manufacturer of software tools and integrated solutions for behavioral research, headquartered in Wageningen, The Netherlands. Lucas Noldus has more than 18 years of experience in tools development, consultancy and training. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed papers and conference presentations about methods and techniques in behavioral research. Dr. Noldus is also the president of the Netherlands Institute of Biology, chairman of the Bioscience Forum and member of the Netherlands Academy of Technology and Innovation. Dr. Noldus earned his M.Sc. in biology from Leiden University and his Ph.D. from Wageningen University.
