• Animal species: rat or mouse.
• Group size: 24 animals (2 groups of 12).
• Treatment: one group can be experimentally treated according to your research question. Different routes of drug administration are possible.
• Test environment: animals will be housed individually in instrumented PhenoTyper cages.
• Test protocol: each animal is observed continuously for 6 days. Activity, locomotion and exploration are measured continuously. An anxiety test can be included. Details of the study will be discussed and customized according to your specifications.
• Analysis: computation of approx. 100 behavioral end points.
• Report: statistics (group mean + SEM) per behavioral end point. Significant differences between groups will be displayed in graphs, with comments.
