NeuroBasic-PharmaPhenomics
Delta Phenomics is one of the partners in the Dutch research consortium NeuroBasic-PharmaPhenomics, which became operational in 2011.
NeuroBasic-PharmaPhenomics aims to design new drug discovery strategies for neurological and psychiatric diseases. Important goals of this project are to improve early stage drug development and to provide new medium and high-throughput phenotypic analysis techniques in parallel with novel (genetic) animal models.
In this project Delta Phenomics will focus on the development and pharmacological validation of new behavioral test paradigms in rat models of depression and other psychiatric disorders, with emphasis on the analysis of social behavior.
