PhenoSys, based in Berlin, Germany, is a research-oriented company that develops cutting-edge technology for automated animal behavior research. Delta Phenomics collaborates with PhenoSys by testing and validating automated devices to be integrated in the home cage of rodents. The expertise of PhenoSys includes specialized sensors, stimuli and actuators, touch screen technology for animal behavior environments and RFID (transponder) operated devices in home cage environments. The founder and president of the company is Prof. Dr. York Winter, who also holds a position as chair in cognitive neurobiology at Humboldt University, Berlin, and who leads the animal phenotyping core facility of the Center of Excellence “NeuroCure” at the Charité Medical School, Berlin.
