Projects
Next to its services for clients, Delta Phenomics participates in several international and national collaborative research or R&D consortia, which are comprised of leading academic as well as industrial partners.
Our current research projects include:
Neuromodel
Neuromodel is an Initial Training Network on innovative treatment approaches of Huntington's disease and Parkinson's disease funded through the EU FP7 Marie Curie program. The aim of this consortium is to characterize the pathways involved in these diseases, to develop novel therapeutic targets, to predict early phenotypes and markers, and to generate novel animal models for these neurodegenerative diseases. NeuroBasic-PharmaPhenomics
NeuroBasic-PharmaPhenomics is a Dutch research consortium, which became operational in 2011. It aims to design new drug discovery strategies for neurological and psychiatric diseases. Important goals of this project are to improve early stage drug development and to provide new medium and high-throughput phenotypic analysis techniques in parallel with novel (genetic) animal models. SenseWell
The SenseWell research consortium aims to develop a novel system for the automated assessment of wellbeing of rodents in a home cage environment. Through this novel automated system symptoms of disease and chronic stress can be detected at an early stage and thus also the health and wellbeing of socially housed rodents. This rodent model will serve as basis for a system in animal husbandry practice in which it can support the management of large numbers of animals as is the case in for example pig stables. Read more
Delta Phenomics is always open to consider participating in a to-be established collaborative initiative. We can work as a partner with you on for instance the characterization of your novel transgenic animal model, or on the behavioral screening of your newly developed compound.
If you are setting up a research project and you think that Delta Phenomics could be a valuable collaborator and co-applicant of your proposal, please contact us.
